CreAbility: Creativity for Capacitation
CreAbility: creativity for capacity building is a project that aims to implement an effective capacity building strategy in the context of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) of fashion, crafts and urban design with three lines of action:
- FashionAbility – Fashion
- CraftAbility – Artistic Crafts
- PlaceAbility – Design and architecture for public spaces
CreAbility, conceived by ModaCult – Center for the Study of Fashion and Cultural Production, stems from the consolidated expertise of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in the field of CCI.
The project aims to show how the fashion, crafts and design sectors can be used as places of transformation and potential social change. By working on the entire identified supply chains and their imagery – not just on the material product – the project aims to enhance how these sectors are able to create socially inclusive content, open and plural identities free of stereotypes.
CreAbility also wants to highlight how training and skills acquisition within a supply chain can have an impact on the cultural and creative sectors, fostering mutual enrichment.
