Tag Your Food
The aim of the project was to raise awareness among citizens-consumers on the subject of safe, quality and sustainable agri-food products, also with a view to combating the market of counterfeit products and disinformation, also attributable to fake news circulating on the net.
Tag yourfood was therefore created with the intention of triggering a process of empowerment that, aimed at encouraging more responsible consumption choices, contributes significantly to the health and well-being of citizens.
Of regional scope, the path included the creation of a mainly digital information campaign, assisted by training moments and awareness-raising and information activities at the counters.
The development of the content for training and awareness emerged from a qualitative-quantitative study on the level of knowledge and awareness of consumers. The ModaCult Centre (UNICATT) carried out an action-research that analysed citizens' knowledge on the quality and safety of food products. The survey also aimed to validate the effectiveness of the information tools created within the project
