The Milano Fashion Institute is an inter-university consortium for higher education in the field of fashion, founded in 2007 by three Milanese universities: the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (ModaCult), Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi (which is no longer part of the Institute since 2021) and The Politecnico di Milano (School of Design) with the aim of creating of a multidisciplinary educational hub of excellence at the international level.
In January 2022, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana joins as a partner.
Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi no longer joins as 2021.
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (ModaCult) ended its membership in July 2023.
