Human Mobility and Global Justice

AS

Among the numerous initiatives dedicated to the epochal phenomenon of international migration, the Summer School "Human Mobility and Global Justice " is characterized by a repositioning of perspective, placing the analysis of the processes of human mobility within a broader reflection, which refers precisely to the question of global justice, read in all its implications: economic, political, social, cultural, ethical and pastoral.

The XIV Edition of the School took place from 24 to 27 August 2026 in Palermo, focusing its attention on the theme of culture and the challenges posed by intercultural and interreligious coexistence, moving from the micro level of school, socio-health, professional and neighbourhood contexts to the macro level of scenarios that stand out on the horizon of a (Christian?) increasingly visibly in an identity crisis.

Prof. Laura Zanfrini, in her capacity as Scientific Director of the Human Mobility and Global Justice Summer School, on behalf of the entire Scientific Committee and the participants, expresses her warmest congratulations to the Co-Director of the Summer School, S.Em.za Rev.ma Cardinal Fabio Baggio, C.S., who has just been appointed by the Holy Father Leo XIV as Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development. with the special assignment of the "Laudato si'" Higher Education Center.
