In recent years, cancer therapies have significantly improved the survival of cancer patients by extending the horizon of long-term life expectancy and the possibility of becoming parents. However, antiblastic treatments are associated with a high risk of temporary or permanent infertility. However, cancer treatments that affect reproductive capacity are no longer an insurmountable obstacle to becoming parents: fertility preservation treatments, such as the cryopreservation of ovarian tissue, guarantee - today - a "fertile future" even for young cancer survivors. This cross-sectional study explores the knowledge, attitudes and perspectives of young women with cancer, who are eager to have children, regarding fertility and pregnancy-related issues after beating cancer.

The primary objective of this study is to investigate the knowledge on fertility preservation of women with a diagnosis of oncological pathology before starting oncological treatments. Among the objectives, there are: 1. To investigate the factors associated with the intentions of women with a diagnosis of oncological pathology who intend to initiate a fertility preservation procedure; 2. To evaluate women's attitudes towards fertility preservation procedures; 3. Assess any repercussions of oncological pathology on women's personal lives.

372 women of childbearing age, with any type of oncological pathology and who have been scheduled for a consultation regarding fertility preservation at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli, IRCCS, will be recruited.
