Social love: utopia or dystopia?

A reflection starting from the book "Social love" (Routladge, 2023) which aims to bring out a social that exists and resists, indeed insists. Can love be considered by social analysis as a fact that cannot bear to be reduced, watered down or concealed and that does not evaporate in preconceived laziness? But even before that, can love help in interpreting social reality, in demarcating and translating, and therefore, in conducting the analysis of social phenomena?

Christian identity in a Europe in an identity crisis

The WWELL Centre is pleased to announce that H.E. Rev.ma Msgr. Corrado Lorefice, Archbishop of Palermo, has been elected by the General Assembly of the Italian Bishops' Conference to lead the Episcopal Commission for Migration and the Migrantes Foundation, succeeding Monsignor Gian Carlo Perego, Metropolitan Archbishop of Ferrara-Comacchio. Msgr. Lorefice, among others, will be among the speakers at the final round table of the next edition of the Summer School "Human Mobility and Global Justice", which will take place in Palermo on August 27 at the Aula Magna of the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Sicily "St. John the Evangelist" and which will be entitled "Christian identity in a Europe in an identity crisis".
