The project, conducted by a wide network of partners coordinated by the Opera Diocesana Patronato San Vincenzo, addressed the problem of educational poverty in the province of Bergamo. The WWELL team was involved in the research activities and in the training course. The research activity aimed to define the competency profile of the figure of the Community Agent. This is an emerging professional profile that promotes, supports and facilitates the involvement, participation and interaction between different actors in the area in the process of combating child educational poverty through the enhancement of local resources. The study consisted of an in-depth qualitative study divided into the following phases:

• Identification, through desk analysis and interviews, of good practices that present elements of interest in relation to one or more of the following paths: accompaniment paths aimed at children at risk of educational poverty and aimed at the acquisition of technical skills and relational skills. Support paths for the network of actors present in the area (students, parents, teachers, businesses) with particular reference, in the context of the network, to the role of the relational dimension of the territory.
• Choice of experiences and related realization of case-study analysis to bring out the elements of replicability.

A training course was then designed and implemented for 10-15 figures who played the role of the Community Agent.
