Prof. Egidio Riva is Associate Professor of Sociology of Economic Processes and Labour at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Milano-Bicocca. Her research interests lie at the intersection of sociology of work and social policies and concern the quality and sustainability of work, responses to new social risks, and social inequalities. On these topics he has coordinated and participated in several national and international research projects and has written numerous scientific publications, including monographs, articles in international journals and essays in collective volumes. He is an associate editor of the magazine Community, Work & Family.
