Dr. Massimiliano Colombi is a sociologist, Scientific Director of the B.LIVE Foundation of Bologna and professor of Sociology at the Marche Theological Pole. He received his PhD in Organizational and Management Sciences from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. Its research, consulting and training activities focus on organizational and territorial development processes, social innovation and the dynamics of participation and community building. In particular, it explores the relationships between social transformations, organizations and territories, with attention to generative processes and forms of collaboration between institutions, businesses and civil society. Recent publications include Energie micropolitane. From Peccioli resonances for Italy (Touring Club Italiano, 2026) and the essay Building stories, building communities, in Making things new. Cultural heritage and narration. A multidisciplinary gaze (Mimesis, 2024). He is also the author of the article For a Jubilee of concreteness, afternoon and micropolitan. In a caravan to co-build the new in the afternoon of Christianity, published in the journal Sacramentaria & Religious Sciences.
