Peace, Conflicts and the Economy
Hosted by the International Peace Science Center, the annual workshop Peace, Conflicts and the Economy brings together scholars from Italy and abroad who study the intersections of conflict and economics. The meeting explores how political violence, military expenditure, sanctions, peacekeeping, post-conflict recovery, and climate-conflict linkages shape economic behavior and policy. We welcome theoretically grounded and empirically rigorous work from economics, political science, international relations, and related fields, with an emphasis on transparent methods and policy relevance.
