I-LAMP Prize

The I-LAMP Prize recognizes and promotes the best students who have graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore with a thesis work on a theme of interest of the I-LAMP Research Center.

The prize is divided in two sections:

• I-LAMP Master graduates award: the prize is awarded to students who have obtained the master's degree in the academic year in which the prize is awarded or in the immediately preceding one, on the recommendation of the members of the I-LAMP steering committee. The assignment criteria refer to the exceptional nature of the student's career and the quality of his graduation work.
  
• I-LAMP early career award: the prize is awarded to students that obtained a degree from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences of UCSC, who subsequently obtained a research doctorate or equivalent qualification and / or achieved excellent results in careers in the private sector. The Prize is divided in two categories:
  • Academic: The award criteria refer to the excellence of the results achieved during and after the research doctorate (academic position, published articles, etc.)
  • Non-Academic: The Prize recognizes the career in the private/industrial sector (technical responsibilities within an industrial project, management, journalistic or editorial career, etc.)
