The educational offer
The training offer proposed by the Centre – delivered through the University's institutional channels – focuses on emerging knowledge needs identified through continuous dialogue with stakeholders and is divided into a series of courses that can also be customised and possibly delivered in partnership with qualified institutes and organisations.
Potential recipients include public and private bodies, companies, associations and other organizational realities that want to acquire skills related to the psychology of communication and mediated experiences.

The Centre for Studies and Research in the Psychology of Communication (PSICOM) designs and implements MetaLabs: immersive teaching environments that transform lectures, laboratories and exams into engaging, measurable and inclusive experiences.
MetaLab is a new methodology developed within the Metaversity project that integrates virtual/augmented reality, collaborative 3D environments and AI tools to create high-impact training courses, designed for university courses, masters, continuing education and corporate projects.
We start from the analysis of teaching needs and expected learning outcomes, then co-design short and targeted immersive experiences with the teacher that encourage attention, participation and practical application. Each MetaLab is documented with evaluation rubrics, engagement metrics and operational guidelines, so as to ensure replicability and quality.
Our services include:
- Immersive instructional design: definition of objectives, storyboarding of XR experiences, selection of platforms and materials.
- Delivery and facilitation: technical and pedagogical management in the classroom or remotely, with tutoring to students and support to the teacher.
- Learning assessment: collection of evidence (questionnaires, logs, artifacts), analysis and reports with recommendations.
- Teacher training: practical workshops on methodologies, safety, inclusion and universal design for learning.
- Consulting and scalability: standardization of formats, cost optimization.
We pay particular attention to accessibility, student well-being and data protection. Our solutions, which have been scientifically validated through multi-year experimentation, are "device-agnostic" and adaptable to different infrastructural contexts, with equivalent alternatives for those who cannot use visors.
We also offer turnkey packages to bring immersive teaching into existing courses in just a few weeks.
