One in two Italians is dissatisfied with their economic situation due to the rising cost of living: 80% of the population is unable to cope with the increase in the price of essential goods, such as food and energy. This situation is made even more precarious by the fact that their purchasing power is lower than the European average. As a result, around half of Italian consumers are taking out loans even to purchase basic goods.

To explore these issues in greater depth, Il Sole 24 Ore and KRUK Italia are organizing an event entitled “Responsible credit: trust that generates value. Sustainable recovery as a driver for citizens and the economy.” The meeting will begin with the presentation of the latest research conducted by Ipsos to outline the economic and credit situation of Italian citizens and will offer useful insights for navigating the financial world.

The focus will be on the concept of responsible credit, which is based on trust between institutions and consumers and can be transformed into concrete value: peace of mind and control for individuals, new resources put back into circulation for the economy. From this perspective, sustainable debt collection becomes a tool capable of generating psychological, social, and economic benefits, transforming credit management into a positive driver for citizens and businesses.

The event, which will be held on November 13 in Milan and will celebrate KRUK's 10 years of activity in Italy, will bring together prestigious representatives from banks, credit institutions, and companies with the aim of creating discussion forums capable of finding common ground between the issues closest to consumers and those relevant to the world of credit management.
