Systemic University Change Towards Internationalisation for Academia: supporting academics in becoming key players in the internationalisation of higher education


This three-year project focuses on academics and their role in the internationalisation process, and follows on from the successful SUCTI project, which aimed at raising awareness amongst administrative staff in higher education and empowering them to be part of the internationalisation process of their institutions.

Intellectual output

An exploratory study was published in October 2020 and was the first intellectual output of the project. The second intellectual output is a manual for SUCTIA trainers and was completed in February 2021.

The Project

SUCTI for Academia focuses on academics and their role in the internationalisation process. It is a three-year project, running from September 2019 to August 2022, funded under the European Commission's Erasmus+ - KA2 Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education. The project will be delivered by the following partners:

  • Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain

The kick-off meeting was hosted by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, 16-17 December 2019.
