Erasmus+ IN2IT Project

Internationalisation by Innovative Technology (IN2IT) is an Eramus+ project involving European and Israeli partners in the development of innovative technological infrastructures for internationalisation in higher education. The Centre for Higher Education Internationalisation (CHEI) is leading a work package on collaborative online curricula.

Meetings and workshops

June 2018. Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore hosted the IN2IT project at the Milan campus for a workshop. The team, which included CHEI PhD student Amit Marantz-Gal and Università Cattolica faculty Costanza Peverati, worked together with Università Cattolica students participating in the online English for Internationalisation Purposes course involving students internationally, including from Israel. Università Cattolica News published a video report on the project (in Italian), including interviews with participating students from the university. 

May 2018. From ideas to concept. Workshops were held to set up future EU-Israel cooperation on international online English courses.

April 2018. Erasmus IN2IT project meeting held at the Warsaw University of Technology. The IN2IT team met to discuss how to ensure sustainability for the English for Internationalisation Purposes online course, and set out a comprehensive sustainability and future development plan. 

November 2017. The Université de Montpellier hosted an IN2IT conference entitled Internationalization & Technology in Higher Education. The conference focused on the effect on student competences and employability of the international online courses that the IN2IT project is developing. CHEI PhD student Amit Marantz-Gal and Costanza Peverati, Adjunct Professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, took part in the session on 'English for internationalisation purposes: practical English for the global work environment, presentation skills, and formulating ethical conduct in a global learning/working environment'.

March 2017. Project partners involved in Work Package 3 on collaborative online curricula met at Warsaw University of Technology for meetings and workshops on the development and delivery of international online curricula.
