About the centre

The Laboratory for Research and Intervention on Societies (LaRIS) is a center for research, studies, education, training and consultancy established at the Brescia campus of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. It is a vibrant environment in which lecturers, researchers and postgraduate students engage in teaching and research activities concerning sociology.

Goals

The LaRIS main aims and objectives are as follows:

• promoting and developing sociological and anthropological culture
• carrying out research, training and consultancy activities
• developing partnerships with companies and institutions who require such type of expertise
• promoting knowledge transfer amongst lecturers, researchers and students
